Ghost Machine

This was put together by Jurgenson Raudauve himself and was used commonly by him.

What you will need is a recorder, a pair of headphones, a microphone, a jack plug & lead, and a radio.First plug one end of the jack plug into the recorder and the other end into the radio.Turn the radio onto a static station which will prevent other stations from being mistaken as ghost voices. The radio will create background noise which is known as "whitewater noise".The jack plug and lead also make sure that no radio noise except for the "whitewater noise" and the communication between the spirit/spirits and any living people trying to communicate with them is recorded.Plug the headphones and the microphones into the recorder and hit record.Have a short pause and then introduce yourself to the spirits and ask them to communicate with you and tell them that you are not a harmful presense.Raudauve had great success using this machine and machines like this which was hwy he was sosuccessful atr capturing over 100,000 plus voices in his career!I have not put tgether or used a device like this yet but I estimate that if you buy all of these products you might spend 150-200 dollars but it all depends
on the types of equipment that you purchase. When I use it I will be sure to post info on my results here.If you plan on using it good luck in capturing voices from the other side. The diagram above was taken from the book "Mysteries of the Unexplained" by H.G. Carlson which is

Rating system for EVP's

Class A The voices  are understood by all that listen. The words are actually somewhat loud and clear (rare).
Class B Voices cannot be deciphered clearly and tones are very low and hard to understand
Class C Voices are extremely faint and almost completely incomprehensible (most common but unexceptable).

"A good investigator is objective. Adheres to scientific protocols, eliminates all other possibilities and presents what is found"

Let's Get started...

First of all There are three proven ways to gather ghost recordings on tape.

1. Lay the unit down with MIC extended, ask a few questions and walk away for twenty minutes. Or,

2. This time lay the unit down and stay there asking questions and pausing for a response.

3. Gently carry the recorder around with you as you walk. Stop and ask a question, pause for answer then move on to the next stop.

Here are Seventeen helpful tips:

1.  Only use new name brand tapes, not department store specials. The better tapes will increase the clarity of the voice you capture and is worth the difference in cost. A tape labeled "normal" from a company such as TDK or Maxell are affordable and fine for use with EVP.
Remember, it's not professional to use a previously recorded tape for something as important as this.

2.  If possible, use an EXTERNAL microphone. This will drastically cut down on the motor noises and internal sounds from the recording device. Extend the MIC away from the unit when recording.

3.  If you have to talk on an investigation, do it in a normal voice. Whispering can sound like a ghost voice when playing back the tape.

4.  Always maintain a positive attitude and expect to get results.

5.  As you are recording, be sure to make note of any sounds or noises so as to not confuse it with something paranormal during playback.

6.  If you're recording unit has a sensitivity level, adjust it to the highest level possible. A ghost voice is usually very faint and anything we can do will help.

7.  Consider setting your unit to "voice activated" mode if it has it. But only do this if your unit is extra sensitive or has the ability to adjust the sensitivity to high.

8.  Both digital and regular tape recorders seem to work fine. However, some say that reel to reel and full size cassette players work the best. That could very well be true, especially when using an external MIC, but I haven't noticed a distinct difference.

9.  At the beginning of your recording session state your location, the time, and the weather conditions. This can be very helpful later on.

10.  Ask the spirits to talk loudly and even shout if possible. We need that voice as loud and clear as possible.  :)

11.  On playback do not confuse background noise and garble as a ghost voice! If it sounds like it could be background noise, then it most likely is just that.

12.  There are several programs that can be used to edit your voice results. You can find some of these on the web at Downloads.com & Tucows.com .

13.  Oh, and here's a secret.....when asking questions for a ghostly response, never say "is anyone there?." ALWAYS act like you know they are there. So say something like "what is your name?" or "is there something I can do for you?" Try it.  :)

14.  During playback it is advised that you use earphones that completely cover your ears as to not allow distractions when you're reviewing for the first time. Oh, and when adjusting the volume make sure it is at a safe level so that  a sudden loud burst will not deafen you.

15.  Coming soon - a list of instructions for converting your EVP to a a computer file!

16.  Read this investigation report and note how all the steps in this report are followed.

17.  Always express your gratitude at the end of the recording session. They like it when you say Thank you.

Also consider using your video recorder for collecting EVP while filming

How to Make napalm

Napalm is a sticky very flammable substance usually used in military incendiary (fire) devices and explosives. Very commonly utilized with flame throwers as fuel. It is desirable by the military because the fuel sticks to its target and is very difficult to remove, also it is difficult to use water to extinguish it since its oil component is not soluble, in a flame thrower device its high viscosity keeps it from dispersing as an aerosol such as with normal petrol at high pressue, that is you can throw it for a long distance from the flame thrower nozzle without it dispersing in short distances as normal petrol does. Finally the oil or polymer component of napalm burns for a lot longer than normal petrol. (the term petrol will be used instead of 'gas' to avoid confusion).

There are two primary ways to make napalm. One is to use soap and petrol. Generic soap bars are needed, that is basic soap without perfumery or hand cream additives. The soap is shredded using a food shredder and equal volumes of soap and car petrol (half/half) are added together and stirred until thick and sticky. This can be placed in a container and pressurized through a spray nozzle using compressed air.

The other technique used is to use motor oil instead of soap. This is a better solution since motor oil is in liquid form and is stirred easily into petrol.

The fuel and the oil should all be highly flammable. Other white fuels can be used instead of car petrol but these will have to be very flammable such as diesel fuel. For simpler applications the less flammable white fuels can be used but for use with explosives petrol is a better solution as it reacts better to the explosive driver and is directed to its final destination more effectively than with viscous white fuels.

Very importantly it is very dangerous to add explosve substances directly to the napalm liquid. This is because petrol reacts with oxidizing agents and can cause a spontaneous combustion accident.

Another Way is to Take gasoline in a semi-large container...such as a Coffee tin and take styrofoam and tear off small pieces and put them into the Gasoline.

when the Foam is in the gas it will begin to melt.

Slowly keep adding more pieces of Styrofoam until no more will melt into the gas.

Consistency will be slightly jelly like

How to Deal with Poisoning

Poisons around the house include household cleaners, insect repellants, medicines, acids and alkalis, barbiturates and petroleum products. The effects of poisons are not always present but when they are they include severe pain, cramps, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and unconsciousness. An unusual odor is often present on the breath and corrosion, swelling and discoloration occur at the point of entry and the throat. Whenever a poison has been swallowed you need to seek medical help even if it appears that the person has recovered. The vessel containing the poison could be of help since it is labeled and has a sample of the poison.

It is usual to deal with acids and alkalis at home. Acids include toilet bowl cleaner, rust remover and iodine. Common alkalis include lye, washing soda, ammonia and bleach. If a person has swallowed an acid or an alkali do not induce vomiting instead follow this procedure :

If the person has swallowed an acid do not induce vomiting; dilute the acid with water, milk or cream and accompany the water with a tablespoon of milk of magnesia to help neutralize the acid. Give up to four cups to an adult.

If the person has swallowed an alkali do not induce vomiting; dilute the alkali with water, milk or a fluid that will help neutralize it such as fruit juice or vinegar. Give up to four cups for an adult.

If the person has swallowed a poison other than an alkali or acid or petroleum product then the procedure is to dilute the poison with milk or water. Up to four cups for an adult. After diluting the poison you should induce vomiting.

Vomiting could be induced by drinking a strong solution of salt and water or by tickling the back of the throat.

When poisoned by gasoline or other petroleum products there is little one could do except seek medical attention. If a large quantity of gasoline, turpentine, polish or pine oil have been swallowed then drink 100g of mineral oil while waiting for medical attention.

To deal with barbiturate poisoning thoroughly induce vomiting as discussed before. Keep the victim awake by giving him strong coffee and walking him about

Other poisons could be dealt with by drinking water or milk and then inducing vomiting.

To deal with poison gases carry the victim to an area with fresh air. Loosen the clothing and if the victim has stopped breathing apply artificial respiration at once.

A universal antidote could be made to deal with many poisons. It is made of two parts pulverized wood charcoal or very burnt toast and one part milk of magnesia and one part very strong tea.
